E-Commerce Market Specialist APAC

THE ROLE

The E-Commerce Market Specialist is an important position in the execution of POC’s online presentation and ecommerce performance. Candidates for this position need to have a deep understanding of consumer online engagement and revenue optimization strategies. This employee will be responsible for the day-to-day management, analysis, and optimization recommendations for POC’s APAC websites and online store. The E-Commerce Market Specialist APAC will play an important role in the development of POC’s global ecommerce business unit and achieving the outlined targets.

The role will reside in POC’s regional APAC office (Christchurch) and reports to the Global Head of E-Commerce, based in Austria. We are looking to fill this role immediately.



RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ownership of day-to-day management of commercial website needs and regional website updates
  • Partner with Global Merchandising Team to make sure all products and collections are complete and prepared for merchandising 
  • Partner with Global Merchandising Team on regional SEO needs
  • Work with regional customer service teams to ensure a functioning regional website
  • Evaluate web audience analytics and merchandising performance, present optimization recommendations to Global Head of E-Commerce based on set KPIs like Conversion rate, Bounce Rate, Time on Page
  • Support Digital Manager in developing and executing annual, monthly and weekly strategies to optimize website performance based on analytics and set KPIs
  • Evaluate trends in ecommerce analytics and vet potential partnerships to increase efficiency
  • Assist Global Head of E-Commerce in developing strategic direction for the POC ecommerce channel to achieve revenue and channel goals
  • Advise on regional customer buying behavior trends 
  • Provide insights on regional web shopping needs: shipping services, payment services, local partnerships etc, legal requirements and work on their implementation



TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years in analytics, merchandising, managing web content or equivalent ecommerce role
  • Back-end management experience and technical proficiency in Shopify
  • Demonstrable experience with:
  • Email platforms such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp or Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Google Analytics and BI tools
  • Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate in Chinese, Korean and/or Japanese is a bonus
